Kensington Village provides a comprehensive continuum of care. Our care model featuring aging in place, has the ability to match the needs of our residents throughout the aging process, including end of life care.
Within the Retirement Home we provide four levels of care: Retirement, Retirement Plus, Retirement Enhanced and Retirement Enhanced Plus.
The following is a brief summary of the four levels of care available.
Retirement
Retirement living is the first level of care in our Retirement home. Residents care for themselves, with limited assistance from staff.
Retirement Plus
Retirement Plus includes the same features as Retirement living, but with 15 minutes of extra care as needed. This is a great service for Residents who can still do most tasks on their own, but require minimal assistance.
Retirement Enhanced
Retirement Enhanced living allows Residents to enjoy the benefits of 30 minutes of daily assistance. This is recommended for Residents who require assistance with tasks associated with the various aspects of day to day living.
Enhanced Plus
Retirement Enhanced Plus is a comprehensive care package available to residents who require a high level of assistance. Retirement Enhanced Plus provides 60 minutes of daily care. Retirement Enhanced Plus is offered in a separate area of the home, which has been specifically designed to meet the needs of its residents.
